Workshop on Effective Classroom Teaching Strategies at Mandal Parishad Primary School, Muchintal

Good teaching changes what a classroom can do for its students. With that in mind, Laksh Foundation along with Learn2Lead recently conducted a workshop on Effective Classroom Teaching Strategies for the teaching staff of Mandal Parishad Primary School, Muchintal, Shamshabad.The session was led by Ms. Kauser Sayeed, Chief Advisor – Education, Laksh Foundation. It began with a return to first principles, asking what a school is and what it exists to do for its students, before moving on to effective teaching and learning methodologies that teachers can use in their everyday classrooms.Teachers from the school took part, sharing what they face in their own classrooms and taking away practical methods they could start using at once. At the end of the workshop, participating teachers received certificates in recognition of their participation.This workshop is part of Laksh Foundation’s wider work with Mandal Parishad Primary School, Muchintal, which is supported by My Home Group through the Jupally Balamma Memorial.Strengthening government schools means investing in the teachers who run them.
